TR Riney has substantial experience performing an array of diligence and closing-related duties for complex real estate transactions across all sectors and asset types, including underwriting, diligence, capital and operational modeling.  As a manager at WhyHotel, a hospitality/real estate startup based out of Washington, DC, he supported the president and CEO in multiple functions including underwriting, finance, lease analysis and operational design, and developed, scaled and managed a team to open multiple US locations for the WhyHotel pop-up hotel model. Earlier in his career, he worked for the US Navy as a Project Manager/Engineer where he managed aeronautical defense projects for the US Navy on behalf of NAVAIR.
